Ashdown Peacemaker-20C

Ashdown Peacemaker-20C The Ashdown Peacemaker-20C: Boutique British Tone in a Portable All Valve Combo Hand Built British Craftsmanship The Ashdown Peacemaker-20C is a hand built all valve combo that delivers premium British tone, exceptional touch sensitivity, and inspiring musicality in a compact and highly portable package. Designed and built in the UK using premium components and traditional craftsmanship, the Peacemaker-20C offers the kind of dynamic response and harmonic richness that players expect from a true boutique amplifier. Rich Valve Tone and Dynamic Response Powered by a pair of 6V6 power valves and pushing 20 watts of all valve power through a Celestion Creamback speaker, the Peacemaker-20C produces a warm, punchy voice with remarkable clarity and articulation. From shimmering clean tones to warm edge of breakup textures and fully saturated overdrive, this amplifier responds beautifully to picking dynamics and guitar volume adjustments. Rich harmonics, smooth sustain, and touch sensitive feel make every note come alive. Flexible Two Channel Performance The two channel design provides access to both clean and overdrive sounds, while rear panel channel linking expands the amplifier's tonal flexibility even further. Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble, and Master controls allow precise tone shaping, while the foot switchable Boost function can be used as a volume lift for solos or to add additional drive and saturation when needed. Whether performing on stage, recording in the studio, or practicing at home, the Peacemaker-20C adapts effortlessly to a wide variety of playing styles. Dark and Light Voicing Options A versatile Dark and Light voicing switch provides two distinct tonal personalities. The Dark setting delivers warm, vintage inspired tones with a full bodied low end and smooth highs, while the Light setting introduces added brightness, cut, and articulation that helps your guitar stand out in any mix. Combined with the Celestion Creamback's smooth top end, punchy midrange, and tight bass response, the result is an amplifier capable of covering an impressive range of classic and modern sounds. Studio Ready Convenience The built in load makes silent operation possible without requiring a speaker connection, providing a practical solution for recording and practice applications. This thoughtful feature allows players to enjoy authentic valve tone while maintaining volume flexibility, making the Peacemaker-20C equally at home on stage, in the studio, or in a home environment.
