As Above So Below -- Hermetic Bronze & Emerald Pendant

“As Above, So Below.” Thus begins the Tabula Smaragdina, a mythic text engraved upon a tablet of Emerald. This sacred writing is held as the foundation of the Hermetic tradition and a key of alchemical wisdom. However you do not need to be an alchemist to observe the secret symmetry in nature. There is mirror symmetry: As a tree's branches reach up towards the light, its roots reach down towards the darkness. There is a symmetry of levels: Microcosm of the body contained within the macrocosm of the universe. It is a natural truth, a mantra of unity, balance, and cosmic connection, which flowers outward and inward, resonating on all levels, and in all directions. These two entangled bronze branches reach upward and downward, with a diamond window of equilibrium between them, framing a genuine faceted emerald. This elegant bronze and gemstone pendant captures the beauty of nature while illustrating one of the most sublime principles in magic and science.
