Arundel El Jefe Bottle Cage Adapter

Adhesive Bottle Cage Adapter for Bikes Without Bottle Bosses The Arundel El Jefe is a simple, elegant solution for mounting a bottle cage on bikes that lack traditional bottle cage bosses. Whether you need to add hydration capacity to the frame, seat post, or fork, El Jefe provides a convenient mounting point for any standard bottle cage. Using industrial-strength 3M adhesive backing and a cable tie system, this adapter creates a secure, permanent mounting solution that stays put even on rough terrain. Installation is straightforward: clean the mounting area, peel off the backing, stick in place, and secure with a cable tie (zip tie). Once your bottle cage is installed, it covers the head of the cable tie for a clean, professional appearance that doesn't look like an afterthought. The combination of 3M adhesive and cable tie attachment ensures the adapter won't slip or shift during riding, providing reliable bottle retention on any surface. Simple Installation, Secure Performance No bottle bosses required—mount a bottle cage anywhere on your bike frame, seat post, or fork. Industrial-strength 3M adhesive backing provides permanent, secure attachment to frame surfaces. Cable tie (zip tie) system adds redundant security and prevents slipping on rough terrain. Simple three-step installation: clean the area, peel off backing, stick in place. Bottle cage covers the head of the cable tie for a clean, integrated appearance. Compatible with any standard bottle cage with traditional mounting holes. Dual attachment system (adhesive plus cable tie) ensures adapter stays secure during rides. 3M adhesive prevents movement even when riding on rough surfaces or technical terrain. Ideal for frames without bottle cage mounts, including full-suspension mountain bikes and older frames. Allows addition of extra bottle capacity on frames with limited mounting options. Can be mounted to seat posts for additional storage or alternate bottle positioning. Works with fork legs for bikepacking setups or extra water capacity. Lightweight design adds minimal weight to your bike setup. Durable construction withstands weather, UV exposure, and trail conditions. Clean, professional appearance once installed—doesn't look like an add-on solution. More secure and sleeker than velcro strap alternatives. Installation Tips Thoroughly clean and dry the mounting surface before application for best adhesive bond. Remove any dirt, grease, or protective coatings from the mounting area. Allow adhesive to cure for several hours before adding weight or riding. Use appropriate cable tie length for your frame diameter or tube size. Position adapter so bottle cage will clear frame, cables, and rider's legs. Cable tie can be trimmed for clean appearance after bottle cage installation.
