Arugula Seeds - Astro

Eruca sativa Astro is a fast-growing, cold- and heat-tolerant selection of arugula that is the gold standard for many commercial growers. Baby leaves are ready to harvest in just three short weeks, and mature plants are slow to bolt. This variety has what is known as a “strap leaf” shape, meaning the leaves are not deeply lobed like most arugula. The flavor is generally mild with a slight peppery kick. These seeds can be direct-seeded as soon as the soil is workable in spring, and in successions throughout the season. Choose a location with full sun or partial shade, and well-drained soil. Baby leaves will be ready in about 21 days, and plants will reach full size in 40 days. 2 gram packet contains a minimum of 500 seeds.
