Arterra Paver Bluestone Pattern 2 CM

Product: Arterra Paver Bluestone Pattern 2 CM Key Characteristics: Material: High-performance porcelain. This makes it incredibly durable, non-porous, and resistant to staining, scratching, and fading, unlike natural stone which often requires sealing and more intensive maintenance. Aesthetic: Designed to meticulously mimic natural bluestone. This includes its characteristic deep blue-grey palette with subtle tonal variations and a flattering matte finish. The "pattern" usually means a combination of different sized rectangles and squares (e.g., 12x12, 12x24, 24x24 inches) that fit together to create a classic, interlocking layout. Thickness: 2 CM (approximately 3/4 inch). This substantial thickness makes them suitable for a wide range of outdoor applications, allowing for various installation methods. Durability: Weather-resistant: Withstands harsh outdoor elements, including freeze-thaw cycles, making it suitable for all climates. Stain-resistant: Highly resistant to spills from food, drinks, and even chemicals. Scratch-resistant: Maintains its appearance even with heavy foot traffic and furniture movement. Fade-resistant: UV stable, ensuring the color remains vibrant over time. Low Water Absorption: Extremely low porosity prevents mold, mildew, and efflorescence. Slip Resistance: Often incorporates advanced ZeroSlip® technology (a proprietary feature of MSI's Arterra line), providing superior traction on both wet and dry surfaces, which is particularly important for pool surrounds and high-traffic areas. Low Maintenance: A significant advantage over natural bluestone. These porcelain pavers do not require sealingor special cleaning products, simplifying long-term care. Applications: The "Bluestone Pattern" makes these pavers exceptionally versatile for creating elegant and functional outdoor spaces: Patios and Terraces: Create expansive and inviting outdoor living areas. Walkways and Garden Paths: Define pathways with a sophisticated, natural look. Pool Decks and Surrounds: The slip-resistant properties make them an ideal choice for areas around swimming pools. Outdoor Kitchens and BBQ Areas: Resists spills and heat, perfect for culinary zones. Entryways and Courtyards: Provide a grand and welcoming first impression. Light Commercial Spaces: Durable enough for public areas with moderate traffic. Installation: The 2 CM thickness allows for flexible installation methods: Dry-lay: Can be installed directly over a compacted gravel or sand base, allowing for permeable surfaces and easier DIY projects. Mortar-set: Can be permanently set over a concrete slab using thin-set mortar for maximum stability and a more traditional hardscape. Pedestal Systems: Can be used on adjustable pedestals to create raised floors over uneven surfaces or to hide utilities, common for rooftop decks or balconies. The "pattern" means the pavers come in a kit with pre-cut pieces (e.g., 8x8, 8x16, 16x16, 16x24 inches for a standard French pattern) designed to fit together, simplifying the layout process and ensuring an authentic appearance. In essence, Arterra Paver Bluestone Pattern 2 CM offers the classic beauty of bluestone with the cutting-edge performance, durability, and ease of maintenance of modern porcelain.
