ART PRINT: Recuérdame

This is my love letter to Día de los Muertos. A time to honor and celebrate memories, love, legacy, and everlasting connection. This mujer represents all of us, a guardian of remembrance  for those who passed on.  She holds a decorated nicho of a loved one. It symbolizes how we keep them alive through stories, art, and devotion. And her flower crown serves as an antennae to the universe, adorned with  fresh marigolds, a succulent, and roses.   Everything is juicy and blooming as a tribute to life and death! Golden rays behind her radiate, a halo of light and positive energy, guiding spirits home. All while monarch butterflies flutter as  messengers between worlds.  The soft background of hearts, sugar skulls, and cempasúchil petals represent the thin veil between this world and the next. “Recuérdame” reminds us that remembrance is sacred magic. When we speak their names and create in their honor, love transcends time. 8x10" print, comes with a cardboard backing in a cellophane sleeve.
