A striking diamond and onyx ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in sleek platinum, this ring features a square-shaped centerpiece. Uniquely, the centerpiece features a marquise-shaped cutout, which is encrusted with 3, bezel-set diamonds. All of the diamonds are old mine cuts, and the sparkling stones have an approximate total carat weight of 0.55ctw. The remainder of the square-shaped frame features inlaid, calibrated onyx stones. The black hue of the onyx plaques wonderfully contrasts the platinum setting. Each shoulder of the ring features 3, bead-set single cut diamonds, which have an approximate total carat weight of .20ctw, and display I/J color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The band of the ring is smooth and simple, and the gallery of the centerpiece features a lovely heart-motif cutout design. A gorgeous piece, this ring would make a special addition to any antique jewelry collection! Measurements: The ring is currently a size 8.25, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.13mm. The centerpiece has a height of 5/8" and a width of 5/8". Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the diamonds and onyx stones are intact and securely set.
