Art Deco 1.30 Carat Old Mine Cut Diamond & Ruby Antique Target Ring

An antique Art Deco target ring centered on a 1.30 carat antique old mine cut diamond, bezel set within an octagonal halo of vivid calibré-cut rubies and an outer frame of glittering old cut diamonds. Crafted in platinum, the geometric composition is enhanced by finely proportioned openwork beneath the gallery, allowing light to pass through the setting while creating the airy characteristic of the finest Art Deco jewelry. Diamond-set shoulders complete the design. The Art Deco period celebrated bold geometry, vibrant color, and exceptional precision. Calibré-cut gemstones, each individually shaped to fit seamlessly beside the next, represented one of the era's most demanding lapidary techniques. The rich crimson rubies create a vivid contrast against the cool platinum and white diamonds, emphasizing the crisp architectural lines that became synonymous with Art Deco design. At its center, the antique cushion cut diamond displays the broad, hand-cut facets that distinguish early twentieth-century diamonds. Framed by the vivid ruby halo and sparkling diamonds, the stone takes on even greater presence.
