Art Deco Emerald and Diamond Toi et Moi Ring

Art Deco emerald and diamond Toi et Moi ring in platinum and 18k gold, weighing 5.8 grams, set with an approx. 2 carat Colombian emerald with minor oil showing that vivid, saturated green that reads rich without going dark, a clean stone, paired against an approximate 2.20 carat old European cut diamond with an additional approx. 0.30 carats in the shoulders. The old cuts bring bold, broad flashes and chunky faceting, not sharp modern sparkle, but that slower, heavier light that hits in bigger bursts and holds across the face. Sizable 6.5. A true Art Deco Toi et Moi with lines resolving in that crisp, architectural way the period does best. The emerald carries strong body color with natural depth, while the old European cuts add contrast with their wider spread and heavier presence, giving the ring that balance between structure and movement that makes these Deco crossovers hit so well on the hand.
