ART900 Plate Beveling Machine

Machine a V bevel in a plate up to 200 mm thick for butt welding or edge conditioning with a chamfer angle of 15° to 60° at a automatic feed speed of up to 1.0 meters/minute.  The rigid frame incorporates steel where required and aluminum casting where permissible to optimize strength and ergonomics. The motorized feeding process is achieved over hardened work plates with sliding rollers, all driven by two 90 shore polyurethane wheels.  The trolley is complete with height adjustment, chip protection, chip box, and swivel wheels with a brake.  In the event of an irregular floor, the machine head may be hoisted from the trolley and manually guided with hoist along the edge of the plate to be beveled. The standard machine comes with a trolley, fixed cutting speed (spindle RPM), standard cutting tool holder F00011 and cutting tool insert 02045018 for beveling steel with a plate thickness 8 mm to 50 mm.  Choose your machine options of cutter speed, power, and plate thickness using the drop-down controls above to customize this machine for your applications.   See also the optional and spare cutting tools and inserts.   ART900 MACHINE SPECIFICATIONS   INPUT POWER OPTIONS:  120 VAC 1-Phase 60 Hz, 4.0 kW 230/240 VAC 3-Phase 60 Hz 460/480 VAC 3-Phase 60 Hz CHAMFERING ADJUSTMENT: 5 - 33mm, 50mm diagonal CHAMFERING ANGLE: 15° - 60° THICKNESS OPTIONS: < 8 mm 8 - 50 mm 8 -100 mm 8 - 200 mm CUTTER: ∅63 mm, Z5 CUTTER SPEED: 750 RPM, (Variable Speed Optional) CHAMFERING SPEED: 0 - 1 m/min (0 - 3.3 ft/min) WORKING HEIGHT: 800 - 980 mm,  31.5 - 38.5" WORKING DIRECTION:  PLATE INSERTS AVAILABLE FOR: steel, stainless, cast iron, aluminium, alloy titanium, hardox, super duplex L x W x H 600 x 650 x 1600 mm 23.6 x 25.6 x 63" WEIGHT: 175 kg  (385 lb) SHIPPING DIMENSIONS: 920 x 820 x 1580 mm;  205 kg 36.2 x 32.3 x 62.2";    452 lb.         Download the ART.900 owners manual.
