Arrowroot Ground

Arrowroot is a gluten-free starch made from the root of an herb. It is a thickener that works like corn starch and the white powder is flavorless and is used as a thickening agent for sauces, fruit pie fillings and glazes and puddings. Arrowroot can be a substitute for flour or starch. Use two teaspoons in place of one tablespoon of cornstarch. One teaspoon of arrowroot can be used for one tablespoon of flour.
