Arran Sauternes Cask Finish Single Malt Whisky

Arran Sauternes Cask Finish Single Malt Whisky is a beautifully balanced wine-cask expression from the Arran Distillery, showcasing the elegance that sweet wine cask maturation can bring to a vibrant island malt. After initial aging in traditional oak, this single malt is finished in Sauternes wine casks, imparting delicate sweetness, fruit richness, and refined complexity to Arran’s naturally fresh and malty spirit. The influence of the Sauternes casks introduces notes of honeyed fruit, citrus zest, vanilla, and gentle spice, creating a smooth, dessert-like character that remains lively and balanced. Approachable yet layered, this expression is perfect as an after-dinner dram and an excellent introduction to Arran’s celebrated wine cask range.
