Our Around the World Collector Set is sure to include the most distinctive, interesting, and delicious salts in the world! Our Around the World Set includes: 25 hand-chosen salts from our collection Craft Salt Cooking by Mark Bitterman Onyx Salt Cellar Meadow Pewter Salt Spoon Meadow Salt Pocket Box Wooden Gift Box Salt Block Cutie and Mini Microplane Salt is the prism through which the ingredients, dishes, meals, people, and cultures of the world can be experienced in all their fullness and variety. This may sound like hyperbole, but sprinkle a parchment fine flake sea salt on home-grown butterleaf lettuce dressed in macerated shallot vinaigrette and you will experience a chlorophyll dynamo of flavor that seems to strum at the very heart of nature. Patter the pink flesh of fresh-caught trout with the stratified crystals of fleur de sel and brace yourself against the sure compulsion to make offerings of hekatombs and burnt flesh to the sea god Poseidon. Let fall dark pyramids of black lava salt on medallions of Armagnac-seared pork and plantains and you will feel the turgid rush of Incan discovery. Grind smoked salt on hand-churned ice cream and you will trade your house for an igloo. -Mark Bitterman, James Beard Award-winning author & owner of The Meadow Since 2006 Since 2006, we’ve specialized in flowers, craft finishing salts, artisan-made chocolates, vermouths, cocktail bitters and, more recently, a growing collection of pantry goodies from all over the world. With over 120 finishing salts from around the world, our selection of unrefined, all-natural sea salts is as exciting as it is carefully curated.
