Aromatherapy inhaler

I wanted to share something I’ve recently added to my collection: handmade aromatherapy inhalers created from my own personal experience and needs. I’ve struggled with extreme motion and car sickness for as long as I can remember, and these blends have become such a steady, comforting aid. Whenever I have a sudden wave of nausea—whether from motion, an unsettled stomach, or just not feeling my best—having an inhaler nearby has made a world of difference.   Creating these has also been genuinely exciting for me, because it touches the root of why I love working with herbs in the first place. I get to share herbal remedies in a fun, helpful, and unique way—something practical and supportive, yet still deeply connected to plant tradition and care.   They’re also a wonderful tool for labor. When I was in labor myself, I experienced intense nausea that caught me off guard. Looking back, an aromatherapy inhaler would have been such a grounding support in those moments. The ease of use, the portability, and the immediate relief these blends can offer make them a gentle companion for birth bags, car rides, everyday wellness kits, or moments when the body simply needs a little help settling.   Aromatherapy itself carries a beautiful thread of history and folklore. People have been leaning on the aromatic gifts of plants for thousands of years. Ancient Egyptians used fragrant resins and oils not only for ceremony but for restoring balance and clearing the mind. Greek physicians believed certain scents could steady the stomach and strengthen the spirit. In folk traditions across Europe, travelers would carry sprigs of mint, ginger root, or lemon balm tucked into pockets or pouches to ease queasiness on long carriage rides or sea journeys. Even in old midwifery practices, midwives often kept aromatic herbs within reach to comfort laboring mothers, calm breathing, and ease unsettled stomachs.   These inhalers follow in that same tradition—simple, time-honored plant allies used in a modern, convenient way. A small bit of herbal folklore made practical for today. If you experience motion sickness, occasional nausea, or are preparing for labor, they can be a gentle, supportive tool to have close by.
