Aroma-Lite® 60 Candle Wicks

Aroma-Lite® 60-6” pre-cut, pre-tabbed wick. 0.87” flame height; 1.78” burn pool. These are ideal for small containers. Aroma-Lite® Wick series wicks are specifically engineered for tough-to-burn candle systems with high fragrance loads. This self-trimming wick is great for container systems and is designed to reduce and/or inhibit carbon build-up. Aroma-Lite® Wicks are made of 100% natural fibers. Aroma-Lite® wicks are one of the better ones to use in paraffin waxes and in pillar candles. Benefits of Aroma-Lite® wicks Ironic that these wicks are called “aroma-lite” as they are really designed to work best with aroma-heavy candles. If love high fragrance loads and really want a wick that performs with little soot and mushrooming, Aroma-Lite wicks are your choice. Aroma-Lite® wicks also work really well with blended waxes. Their 100% natural cotton fibers burn hot and even, creating even burn pools with blended waxes. Also, Aroma-Lite® wicks can work in pillars! What type of waxes work well with Aroma-Lite® wicks? Aroma-Lite® wicks really perform well with all our wax blends: soy, coconut blends and para-blends. This wick is really an ideal system for all high fragrance load candles, and candles using mixed waxes. This is a great one to try if you are doing blends with beeswax (not 100% beeswax, but beeswax blends). Sometimes beeswax can make it harder for candles to burn evenly so a wick such as Aroma-Lite® that burns hot and smooth may be your answer to beeswax blends. Aroma-Lite® wicks also work well in 100% paraffin waxes. Can Aroma-Lite® wicks work with high fragrance load candles? Yes! They work so wall you may have to size down! Heavy vanilla or heavy floral fragrances can sometimes require a more powerful wick, so if you are finding that the Aroma-Lite® wick of choice is not burning as evenly as you’d like with those scents, decrease your wick size by one and re-test. Are Aroma-Lite® wicks self-trimming? Yes, Aroma-Lite® wicks are well-known for their excellent self-trimming feature. Mushrooming is caused when there is an imbalance between the amount of heat the wick puts off and the amount needed for the candle. Generally, this means that the wick is too large for the candle; either the flame and burn pool are too large, so you need to scale down in wick size, or the wick burns too hot for that specific wax type. Do Shay wicks contain lead? As always, all our wicks are zinc and lead free; made of natural fibers only. For personal guarantees, always test each wick with each different wax type, fragrance and container. Personal testing is the only way to ensure how the wick will perform in your product.
