Arnica

Arnica is toxic when ingested at full strength but can be taken internally when diluted homeopathically. Heals bruises and black eyes; treats osteoarthritis; improves carpal tunnel; relieves sprains, muscle pain & other inflammation; encourages hair growth; skin infections and eczema, treats frost bite and chilblains; nourishes skin; treats dandruff, split ends and premature greying; post-surgery pain and swelling; used in healing sachets to restore emotional balance and a sense of tranquility; used in the treatment of conditions like a backache, fibromyalgia, influenza, headaches, migraines and hemorrhoids.  Organic I've been asked why my Arnica costs more than other vendors. Quality, period. One seller I know of sells Mexican Arnica! True Arnica comes from Elevations over 2700 feet! We carry ONLY Arnica Montana; We get ours from Germany between Nuremberg and Munich. Don't be fooled by cheap imitations anyone who sells Heterotheca inuloides shows their poor quality. You can also tell by the scientific name it isn't at all related to Arnica Montana! What else are they selling you that is poor quality?!! Makes one wonder! There is a major difference between Arnica grown in Europe and “Arnica” from Mexico: The plant grown in Mexico is not Arnica at all. The species name for Mexico-grown “Arnica” is actually Heterotheca inuloides. Although both plants share similar uses, Heterotheca is not an Arnica plant species. Additionally, this plant is more readily available and far less expensive’ It is also known as “False arnica, Árnica mexicana, Árnica del país” NOTE: The information above has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.
