Army Helmet Turtle

Behold the species Testudines galea militaris, the common military helmet turtle! Always ready for battle, this quirky turtle is not just a cutie, but also a fierce protector. He has a carapace made from an authentic surplus military helmet, feet made from heavy-duty rock drill bits, and a spring motion head. His hard shell provides extra protection, making it a force to be reckoned with in the animal kingdom. No opponent stands a chance against this tough little creature! Make no mistake: These are not cheap plastic costume helmets. These are vintage, dirty, and HEAVY! The Helmet Turtle was the one that started it all, the progenitor of Sugarpost Metal, and it continues to be a favorite today. The artist uses a torch to sign each of his turtles. Available in standard issue, military police, and medic. Measurements: Approximately 12" tall and 14" long.
