Armin Strom One Week Manufacture Edition ST25-OW.05

Ergonomic performance meets sculptural design The One Week Manufacture Edition Blue reinterprets Armin Strom’s foundational calibre with a new captivating identity. Housed in a 41 mm stainless steel case and paired with an integrated steel bracelet, the timepiece balances ergonomic performance with sculptural design. The openworked architecture foregoes the traditional dial entirely, allowing the deep blue PVD coated mainplate to serve as a visual centerpiece. The watch explores contrast in form and finish, highlighting the depth and clarity of its mechanical design. Powering the watch is the manual-winding Calibre ARM21, entirely developed, decorated and assembled in-house. With two barrels mounted in series, it delivers a full seven-day power reserve and a beat rate of 3.5 Hz ensures enhanced chronometric stability. A signature feature is the three-dimensional power reserve indicator, driven by a conical gear and polished cone, a kinetic reference to traditional pocket watches. The movement reveals its choreography in real time: the ratchet wheels turning, barrels unwinding and gear train pulsing, all arranged in symmetrical harmony. The One Week was conceived to be a highly three-dimensional manual-winding watch. It totally foregoes a traditional dial and instead adopts a contemporary architecture, with various movement elements positioned in such a way that they can be explored from many angles. The bridge that holds the hands has been designed with a geometric form to rise above the mainplate. It’s all in the execution. With its architectural construction full of depth and contrast, the One Week allows Armin Strom to demonstrate its fervent dedication to haute horlogerie hand-finishing. Straight and circular grained surfaces, polished and chamfered bevels, perlage-grained plates and polished screws and sinks are evidently applied by expert hands.
