Armin Strom Dual Time GMT Resonance Rose Gold RG25.DT.75

The ultimate indie triumph Swiss indie Armin Strom expands its Dual Time GMT Resonance collection with a refined new edition in 18K rose gold. For the first time, the 39 mm case is crafted in this warm alloy, lending a new tonal depth to the model’s distinctive architecture. The rose gold colored polished hands and applied indexes stand out against the black gold colored grenage dial, framed by black azurage chapter rings that separate the two time zones. Paired with an anthracite alligator strap with grey stitching, this edition preserves the technical clarity of the original while offering a different visual interpretation of the same underlying philosophy.  At the core of this horological achievement is the ARF22 calibre — Armin Strom's 18th manufacture movement, designed, engineered, and built entirely in-house. Featuring two balance wheels that oscillate in resonance, its patented clutch mechanism allows the movement's oscillations to synchronize and regulate one another, ensuring unparalleled accuracy. Comprising 231 meticulously crafted components, the ARF22 operates at 25,200 vibrations per hour, delivering a 42-hour power reserve. The GMT function of the timepiece features two independent displays, each with its own day/night indicator. Plus, with independently adjustable hour and minute hands, you can set time zones that deviate from GMT by fractional hours — Positioning the Dual Time GMT Resonance Manufacture Edition as the ideal companion, wherever your travels may lead. But the true essence of this timepiece lies in its mechanical heart. Here, its patented clutch ensures that resonance remains stable, even against everyday shocks and impacts — marking a milestone in horological history and taking timekeeping to the next level of both art and science. The watch’s monochromatic aesthetic and its glossy taupe alligator strap are more than just visual appeal — they serve as a backdrop to the real stars: hundreds of hand-decorated components, many visible through Armin Strom's signature transparent mechanics.  A physical phenomenon that has intrigued the greatest watchmakers for centuries yet remains exceedingly rare, the principle of resonance allows for a more regular timekeeping rate by synchronizing two balance wheels that oscillate in opposite directions at the same time. The manufacture’s patented Resonance Clutch Spring is able to reach and remain in a state of resonance faster and for longer than any other resonance system in watchmaking, resulting in a consistent rate that’s more impervious to shocks and positional rate variances.  Watches incorporating the physical phenomenon are some of the rarest, with only a handful having been invented in the history of watchmaking. Yet none can match the performance of Armin Strom’s patented Resonance Clutch Spring, recognized as the quickest synchronizing and most reliable resonance watch mechanism ever made. It represents a total reimagining of the way resonance can be taken advantage of watchmaking and a truly groundbreaking technical innovation.  Specifications 39mm 18k Rose Gold (9mm thick, 44.5mm lug-to-lug) Sapphire crystal and case back with anti-reflective treatment Water-resistance: 50 meters Distinctions: Two independent time displays each indicating hour, minutes and day/night Functions: Left crown for setting time of left dial; right crown for setting time of right dial and winding Movement: In-house manufactured Armin Strom Manufacture Caliber ARF22 Frequency & Power reserve: 3.5 Hz (25,200 vph), 42 hours Dial: Black gold grenage with black azurage chapter rings, applied rose gold polished indexes, polished and blackened steel day/night discs Straps: Glossy anthracite alligator strap with 18k rose gold buckle Limited Edition: 50 pieces
