Armani I Will

I Will is Giorgio Armani's first new masculine pillar fragrance in 20 years, launched in 2026 and created by master perfumers Alberto Morillas and Nathalie Lorson. The duo undertook over 2,800 trials and 4 years of craftsmanship to arrive at what Armani labels as "hyper-lasting" — a contrast between the smoky, addictive sensuality of Madagascar vanilla absolute and woody leather notes. The opening reveals a surge of freshness through vibrant bergamot woven with aromatic lavender accords and bright violet leaf, then transitions into a sensual, addictive Bourbon vanilla reimagined with an ensemble of smoky woodleather notes. The full heart develops lavender, violet leaf, and sage alongside the bergamot and cardamom opening, creating an aromatic quality that feels both polished and modern rather than conventionally barbershop. The base brings Madagascan vanilla, leather, woody notes, and patchouli — a warm, smoky foundation with a leathery edge that distinguishes it from sweeter vanilla fragrances. Projection and longevity are above-average, with surprisingly good sillage at the beginning that's clearly noticeable in the immediate surroundings before sitting closer to the skin. Community comparisons most frequently land on 1 Million Royal, while others note similarities to Stronger With You Intensely and Prada Paradigme, though I Will leans more aromatic-woody than gourmand-sweet. If you're looking for a sophisticated vanilla-leather with genuine longevity that brings something new to Armani's men's lineup after two decades, a decant lets you experience exactly why this four-year development earned its place as a flagship pillar.
