Arjo - Sara Stedy Sit to Stand Assist, Patient Assist, 400 lb Pivoting Seat, Standard or Compact, Transfer Aid

Encourage independence, simplify daily transfers, and protect both patients and caregivers with a sit-to-stand solution that is ready whenever you are. The Sara Stedy Sit-to-Stand Aid is a simple yet brilliantly engineered solution designed to make everyday transfers safer, easier, and more dignified for both patients and caregivers. Available in Standard and Compact models, the Sara Stedy supports individuals with partial weight-bearing ability as they move from bed to wheelchair, from wheelchair to toilet, or during any seated transfer. Its thoughtful, non-powered design means it is always ready for use without the need for charging, cords, or complicated controls. Built with simplicity in mind, the Sara Stedy relies on an intuitive pulling motion that encourages patients to use the strength they already have. This promotes active participation during standing and helps maintain mobility and independence. Unlike bulky powered lifts that can feel clinical and impersonal, this sit-to-stand aid offers a more natural and engaging transition. There are no invasive slings or complex harness systems required, allowing patients to feel more comfortable and supported throughout the movement. A pivoting seat provides secure support once the patient is standing, making it easy to settle comfortably during transfers. Soft knee supports enhance stability and help maintain proper positioning, while leveraging the user’s own power to assist in the lift. This approach not only promotes confidence but also helps preserve dignity by reducing unnecessary strain and minimizing pressure that can contribute to discomfort. Despite its compact footprint, the Sara Stedy is exceptionally strong and durable, supporting a safe working load of up to 401 pounds. Total-lock castors ensure full stability when anchored, and pedal-operated chassis legs allow caregivers to secure the unit without bending down. The short wheelbase and ergonomic handgrips make it easy to maneuver in tight bathroom spaces or smaller home environments. The Compact model is ideal for tighter areas, while the Standard version offers the same trusted performance for broader care needs. Designed for use in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and private homes, the Sara Stedy reduces caregiver strain while improving patient safety. It arrives fully assembled and ready to use, making it a seamless addition to any care setting.
