Argos – Midas Touch | Oriental Woody Sample

THE RUSH Argos – Midas Touch | Oriental Woody ✨ Everything he touched turned to gold. This fragrance does the same to your skin. Midas Touch by Argos is inspired by Johann Georg Platzer’s Rococo masterpiece depicting the myth of King Midas — the king whose greedy wish for gold became his most devastating curse. Platzer captures the moment of overindulgence with lavish, almost decadent brushstrokes, light dancing across golden surfaces and flesh alike. This fragrance captures that same opulent, theatrical energy: glowing, rich, and impossible to resist. Desire meets downfall. Gold meets grief. And somewhere in between, one of the most extraordinary fragrances in the Argos Artist Series. Opening: Bergamot, Gurjum Balsam, Creamy Tuberose — a radiant, golden entry where sparkling bergamot meets the warm, balsamic richness of gurjum and the heady creaminess of tuberose — glowing like sunlight on newly forged gold. Heart: Rose, Osmanthus, Cistus Labdanum, Leather — an intoxicating, opulent heart where the velvety sweetness of osmanthus and rose meets the sticky warmth of cistus labdanum and the dark sensuality of leather, evoking the opulent weight of desire. Base: Patchouli, Nagarmota, Benzoin Siam, Oud — a powerful, resinous foundation of rare nagarmota and prized oud, warmed by golden benzoin siam, that echoes Midas’s legacy: divine, enduring, and impossible to forget.
