Lip Length determines how far the waterfall extends from its installation point before the water begins to fall. Choose the lip length based on the thickness and design of the pool wall, beam, coping or other structure where the waterfall will be installed. Port Location determines where the plumbing connects to the waterfall: Back Port — plumbing enters from behind the waterfall Bottom Port — plumbing enters from underneath the waterfall Check your plumbing layout and available installation space before choosing a configuration. Flow Requirements ARG recommends approximately 1 gallon per minute (GPM) of water flow for each inch of waterfall width. A 18" ARG waterfall therefore requires approximately 18 GPM under typical conditions. Actual performance can vary based on plumbing length, pipe diameter, elevation, fittings and other restrictions in the water-feature plumbing system.
