Arctostaphylos standfordiana 'Sonoma', Manzanita

Bright green leaves on beautiful mahogany branches show off large and beautiful springtime pink flowers made for hummingbirds! Imbibe the sweet floral display of this wine country native.  Excellent choice for a hot sunny location.  Provide some supplemental water during the first growing season then no summer water.  Very drought adapted. Of all the manzanitas we grow, this is one of the most difficult to get established, but it is worth the effort. So it's a plant for experienced gardeners used to trial and error who realize plants can die for no apparent reason at all. Thus, we do not offer refunds for this particular cultivar, unless damaged during shipping.  Mature size: 6 ft T x 4 ft W rounded shape Minimum temperature: 5° F
