Archangel Michael Printed Bag

Pouch is 6" x 8" "Archangel Michael is dedicated to protecting you and helps to remove fears and phobias that might distract you from your intentions. Michael, also referred to as Mikael, is “who is like El?” (El being another name for God), and is also called Saint Michael. Michael is called Mika’il in Muslim works. Michael is described as an angel of benevolence in the scriptures of the Bible, the Qur’an, and the Torah. Michael is the great prince, appointed over the seventh heaven. This archangel is one of the seven archangels and one of the most venerated guardians in the Christian faith. Archangel Michael is considered the primary angel of protection and justice. Call on Archangel Michael to bring feelings of comfort and safety.  Archangel Michael is often portrayed as a warrior with silver armor, a round shield, and a sword in triumph over a dragon. This representation is considered literal and symbolic in that Archangel Michael will ward off malevolent situations, negative people, and inner and outer demons. God gave Michael the sword to fight his brother, Lucifer, and his rebellious legion of angels. Michael is the head of a company of angels and is considered a leader of angels."   - Excerpted from The Essential Guide to Archangels and Saints by Margaret Ann Lembo
