AR2448x3

36-inch wide x 48-inch high, 3-section Abrasion-Resistant ClearSonic Acrylic Shield AR (Abrasion-Resistant) Panels: If your panels are going to travel and take a beating and you need the most durable product available, we recommend using one of our AR models. AR acrylic features 3M™ 906 Abrasion Resistant Coating on both sides.  The 906 coating is 40 times more resistance to marring, scratching and chemical attack. AR acrylic can be cleaned with standard ammonia-based cleaners and paper towels without worry of fogging. 48-inch high AR2448 ClearSonic Acrylic Panels are commonly used on drum kits that have lower cymbals or when the benefits of communication between musicians out-weighs higher coverage provided by our AR2466 panels. The AR2448x3 is commonly used an ‘add-on’ to increase the width of an existing A2448 system by 72 inches or as a small stand-alone Gobo system. They are also perfect for blocking the beam from many common amps as well as for isolation and creating separation between instruments on stage and in the studio. Used with our AmpPac 40, AmpPac 41, LesliePac 1, LesliePac 2, and IsoPac D. Acrylic Features   Routered edges – provide clean and smooth edge that won’t cut your hands.      ¼” thick acrylic material – provides durability for transporting panels. Creates acoustic separation between instruments on stage or in the studio, cuts down on mic bleeding, and allows everyone to hear themselves or the mix better. Adds stability that allows for modular setup by supporting attachment of Sorber panels, such as the S2224 or S2233, directly to the acrylic panels with adhesive-backed Velcro.       Cable cut-outs – allows space where each panel meets at the bottom for routing/organizing cables for microphones or any wired gear.      Hinge Features   Full-length – our hinges run the full length of each acrylic panel. This extra coverage provides superior sound isolation compared to competitors whose hinges leave exposed seams between panels for sound to escape.      Tooth in groove mechanical lock – the hinge tooth locks into the groove cut into each acrylic panel for superior connection and longer life, especially compared to Friction hinge.      Low profile – allows for better aesthetics as hinge blends into the shield better.      Flexibility – hinge bends 180 degrees in one direction and 90 degrees in the other allowing for accordion style folding. This makes it easier to ship, store, and transport, and allows for a more customized shield footprint.
