The 32 oz Aqua Meds Pond Armor is the ideal "patch and repair" size for concrete pond leaks. It provides structural leak protection by creating a seamless waterproof barrier over hairline cracks and porous masonry without the need for a full pond overhaul. Is this 32 oz kit safe for my Koi and goldfish? Absolutely. This non-toxic pond sealer is VOC-free and 100% fish-safe. It is engineered specifically for the Koi hobby, ensuring that no harmful toxins leach into your water feature once the epoxy coating has cured. What is the coverage area for a 32 oz container? One 32 oz kit covers approximately 15–20 square feet. This makes it a cost-effective solution for sealing waterfall spillways, small fountains, or targeted crack repairs where a full gallon of pond sealer is not required. How do I prepare the surface for Pond Armor? To achieve a permanent mechanical bond, the surface must be clean and dry. We recommend acid-etching concrete surfaces first to open the pores, allowing the Pond Armor epoxy to penetrate deeply and resist hydrostatic pressure. Can Pond Armor be applied to stone or metal? Yes. Aqua Meds Pond Armor bonds to a variety of substrates including stone, brick, block, and most metals. This makes it perfect for sealing the interface between pond liners and plastic waterfall weirs or metal pipe penetrations. How long until the sealer is fully cured? The epoxy-polymer is typically tack-free in 6 to 8 hours. For maximum leak protection, allow a full 24-hour cure time before refilling the feature. This ensures the pond repair is structural and ready for the weight of the water.
