AQ01 Table Lamp - plug-in

The Fritz Hansen AQ01 Table Lamp transforms the classic architect's desk light into something elegantly modern through refined Danish design and innovative touch technology. This isn't your grandfather's drafting table lamp - the AQ01 combines the familiar articulating silhouette with contemporary materials and intuitive controls that respond to your touch. The matte aluminum construction feels substantial yet refined, while the curved edges invite interaction with the shade itself, which serves as your dimmer control. Whether you're working late at your desk, reading in your favorite chair, or need focused task lighting for detailed projects, the AQ01 delivers precisely the illumination you need with the sophisticated aesthetics that elevate any space from functional to beautiful. What makes this lamp exceptional is the seamless integration of technology and craftsmanship that defines modern Danish design. Hidden springs within the delicate arms provide effortless adjustability while keeping all wiring concealed for that clean, minimalist appearance. The polycarbonate diffuser eliminates glare while delivering 100% direct downward illumination in a perfectly symmetric pattern - no harsh shadows or eye strain during long work sessions. The 98-inch matching cord gives you plenty of placement flexibility, and the touch-sensitive dimming means you can adjust brightness levels without fumbling for switches. The plug-in design makes it incredibly versatile - perfect for desks, side tables, or anywhere you need quality task lighting without permanent installation. Fritz Hansen approaches lighting design from their heritage of Danish craftsmanship excellence, where form and function unite through meticulous attention to detail and innovative thinking. Since 1872, they've collaborated with visionary designers like Anne Qvist to create pieces that honor traditional furniture-making principles while embracing contemporary technology and aesthetics. Their philosophy centers on creating lighting that serves modern living needs through timeless design - which is why the AQ01 represents the kind of investment piece that improves both your daily productivity and your space's visual appeal. Through premium materials, refined engineering, and that distinctly Danish approach to functional beauty, Fritz Hansen ensures this lamp becomes an indispensable part of your daily routine while maintaining the design integrity that makes it a pleasure to live with for years to come.
