Aputure Quick Dome 40

Compact Soft Light, Built for Speed The Aputure Quick Dome 40 brings refined soft-light control to setups where every inch counts. Designed specifically for the STORM 80c, this 40cm softbox offers a rapid-deploy build that expands into shape in moments, giving creators smooth, flattering illumination even in the tightest shooting environments. Shaping Light with Precision Its deep parabolic form and silver interior enhance both output and directionality, delivering a clean falloff and beautifully even tone across the frame. Whether you’re lighting close-up interviews, tabletop scenes, or intricate product details, the Quick Dome 40 keeps your subject lit with gentle softness that still maintains intention and contrast. Adaptable Diffusion for Any Small-Space Setup Two interchangeable front diffusions let you fine-tune softness to match the mood, while the included 40º fabric grid provides controlled spill management when working near walls, reflectors, or reflective surfaces. Its compact size pairs seamlessly with handheld or mounted configurations, making it a powerful companion for mobile filmmaking and close-quarters production work. Made for Creators on the Move Lightweight, collapsible, and exceptionally portable, the Quick Dome 40 folds flat into its carrying bag for quick transitions between locations. As the most compact member of the Quick Dome lineup, it delivers the signature Aputure quality in a footprint ideal for studio desks, cramped sets, and run-and-gun content creation.
