Aprilaire 12 Humidifier Water Panel Evaporator Filter

This is an Aprilaire 112 & 445 Humidifier Water Panel Evaporator for the Aprilaire 440 Humidifier, Aprilaire 445 Humidifier, Aprilaire 445A Humidifier, Aprilaire 448 Humidifier, Aprilaire 112 Humidifier, and Aprilaire 224 Humidifier. The Aprilaire water panel evaporator is the key component which works to generate the humidity in your Aprilaire humidifier system. The Aprilaire 224 and Aprilaire 112 are unique humidifying systems in that they use evaporation to increase the humidity, instead of directly putting water into the air like many other systems. The Aprilaire 112 water panel evaporator has a filter life of about 6 months - the dimensions of this Aprilaire humidifier evaporator filter are approximately 11 1/2" x 14 3/4" x 1 5/8". The Aprilaire humidifier water panel is the part that sits directly below the water distribution tray, and the Aprilaire humidifier filter is the part that removes waterborne pollutants. This is a genuine factory replacement Aprilaire 112 water panel evaporator humidifier filter, which is also known as the Aprilaire 12 water panel evaporator filter and April Air 12 water panel evaporator filter. Care should always be taken to ensure that the Aprilaire water panel is kept clean. If minerals are allowed to build upon your Aprilaire water panel, then the system will not be able to produce enough humidity. If the Aprilaire humidifier water panel collects too many built up contaminants, you will notice a decrease in the overall performance of the Aprilaire 112 and the Aprilaire 224. Changing your Aprilaire humidifier water panel is really easy – it just slides into place inside both the Aprilaire 224 and the Aprilaire 112. This replacement Aprilaire humidifier filter pad fits models 112, 224, 440, 445, 448. In general, the Aprilaire humidifier filter should be replaced at least once every six months; however, the Aprilaire water panel may need replacement more often, depending on the pollutants and hardness of the water.
