APR Carbon Fiber Side Skirts for DE5 Integra Type S

Reduces Lift Along The Car's Sides Compatible with the DE5 Integra Type S Ties Front and Rear Aero Together Pre-Preg Carbon, Hardware Included Description Vehicle Fitment APR Performance Carbon Fiber Side Skirts - 2024-2026 Acura Integra Type S (DE5) The sides of a car are where a lot of aero is quietly lost, air spilling under the car from the sides creates lift exactly when you want the car planted. These APR side skirts (side rocker extensions) seal that path, directing airflow along the sides and keeping it from rolling underneath. Less lift means a more stable car through fast corners, in real pre-preg carbon that also sharpens the DE5's profile. How Side Skirts Reduce Lift Worth understanding, because it's genuine function, not just a styling piece. Air moving down the sides of the car wants to curl in underneath it. When it does, it raises the pressure under the car, and higher pressure under the car is lift, it pushes the car up and lightens the tires exactly when you're loading them in a corner. Side skirts extend down along the rockers and block that path, keeping side air outside the car rather than letting it flow underneath. That helps maintain lower pressure under the car, which keeps it planted. The result is a more stable car at speed, better traction through high-speed corners, and the kind of composure that translates into lap time and confidence. They also work with the rest of the car's aero: managing the air along the sides helps the front and rear aero do their jobs, since the underbody airflow stays cleaner from nose to tail. They Tie The Car's Profile Together Beyond the function, side skirts complete the look. They visually lower the car and connect the front and rear, giving the DE5 a more aggressive, ground-hugging profile. On a car with front and rear aero, side skirts are the pieces that link them into a cohesive whole rather than leaving the flanks looking unfinished. In genuine carbon, they read as the functional aero they are, part of a serious build rather than a cosmetic add-on. Pre-Preg Carbon, Vehicle-Specific The construction and fit are both dialed for the DE5. These are pre-preg carbon fiber, cured in a high-temperature, high-pressure autoclave for the strength-to-weight and the consistent, correct weave that a long visible piece like a side skirt needs. On a part running the length of the car, that even weave is what separates real carbon from an approximation. They're designed and manufactured specifically for the DE5, so they follow the rocker line exactly for a flush, proper fit. A vehicle-specific skirt sits right where a universal piece would leave gaps, which matters even more on a part this long and this visible. Hardware Included Stainless bolts, nuts, and washers are all in the box, so you have everything to mount them. Stainless hardware matters on a piece this low on the car, exposed to road spray and salt, since it won't rust and streak the way plated hardware would. Fitment 2024-2026 Acura Integra Type S (DE5) Vehicle-specific design, stainless mounting hardware included. Who Should Grab These This is for the DE5 owner building the car's aero who wants the sides managed, not just the front and rear, and who wants genuine carbon that ties the car's profile together. Real lift reduction along the sides, better high-speed stability, and pre-preg construction cut specifically for the DE5. Pair them with front and rear aero for a complete setup, and plant the car through the fast stuff. Fits: 2024-2026 Acura Integra Type S (DE5).
