“Life is hard out there for a lot of people right now,” says cardmaker Dana Howerton of Washington, DC. “And while I have my own set of challenges, I still try to add positivity to the world. That’s why I wanted to make a card that offers encouragement and support, something you can give for just about any occasion worth celebrating, big or small. I’m a very independent person, but it’s a whole lot easier to keep my head up when I feel seen and appreciated by others.” We’re proud to report that after eight years of being homeless in our nation’s capital, Dana now has housing. Dana receives 15% of the sales from this card and Second Story Cards donates an additional 5% to The Young Women’s Project. Size: A2 (4.25" x 5.5") Paper: Deluxe eggshell cardstock Treatment: Metallic gold ink
