Apogee Pointe Shoe by Virtisse

Apogee is a premium, Russian made pointe shoe, hand crafted on a classical last. A durable, unbreakable non-plastic shank minimizes break in and prolongs the lifespan of the shoe, making it ideal for dancers of any level, including professionals. The reinforced, machine-stitched non-slip sole is made of recycled leather for lasting grip and eco-conscious construction. Long wings and pre-arched construction provide excellent balance, support and stability while offering greater contact with the floor. Lightweight with exclusive noise absorption technology in the platform and pleats—thanks to the innovative direct stitching method—this pointe shoe delivers quiet, confident performance and refined floor feel. Recommended for dancers with a medium to high arch. Box shape: slightly tapered. Platform: larger platform, moderately wide. Vamp: U-shaped, medium length. Shank options are available to suit individual strength and preference: Soft (S), Medium (M) with a ¾ length for added flexibility, Hard (H) full-length for strong feet, and Double Hard (HH) for the strongest support needs. Binding: cotton drawstring (elastic available for special order). ***Don't see your perfect shoe in stock? Give us a call and we will be happy to secure just the right thing for you.
