Apogee Instruments - InSight - Handheld Spectroradiometer

Introducing Apogee's innovative gardening ally, the "InSight" MS-100, a sophisticated, compact spectroradiometer expertly engineered to evaluate and interpret various grow light properties thoroughly. This device, designed with today's progressive gardener in mind, swiftly calculates the most essential photobiological indices, aiding you in optimizing your plant growth: PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) and ePPFD (Extended PPFD) YPFD (Yield Photon Flux Density) and TPFD (Total Photon Flux Density) PFD-UV (Photon Flux Density-Ultraviolet) and PFD-B (Photon Flux Density-Blue) PFD-G (Photon Flux Density-Green) and PFD-R (Photon Flux Density-Red) PFD-FR (Photon Flux Density-Far Red) and FR F (Far Red Fluence) PPE (Photosynthetic Photon Efficacy) and iPPE (Instantaneous PPE) CFI (Color Fidelity Index) and CRI (Color Rendering Index) CCT (Correlated Color Temperature) and Lux R F-R R (Relative Flux-Red Ratio) Foot candle (fc) λp (Peak Wavelength) and λd (Dominant Wavelength) CIE 1931 x & y (Chromaticity coordinates) CIE 1976 u' & v' (Chromaticity coordinates) The InSight is versatile and accommodates various modes of use. Its quick check mode allows instant measurements and insights, directly displayed on the device's compact yet detailed screen that showcases a simple spectral graph. When linked with an iOS or Android device, Apogee's proprietary Insight App enables you to inspect diverse light metrics, save numerous spectral samples for later reference, and visualize full-color graphical displays. The InSight comes packaged with Apogee's comprehensive Insight Software for PCs, offering additional capabilities in spectral analysis and data logging. The device can record measurements over time when connected to a computer via USB, interfaced with a compatible datalogger via Modbus RS-485, or while operating on the provided power supply. Please be mindful the InSight MS-100 isn't water-resistant and should be safeguarded suitably in adverse conditions.
