DESCRIPTION API Pond Melafix is a bacterial infection remedy for fish in ponds. Use dosing cap on bottle. Remove carbon from pond filter and turn off UV lights and ozone-producing units, if applicable. Add 15ml (1 Tbsp.) for every 150 U.S. gallons (567 L) of pond water or ¼ cup (60 ml) for every 600 U.S. gallons (2,270 L) of pond water. As a preventative when introducing new fish to the pond, dose daily for 3 days. To treat infections or heal wounds, dose daily for 7 days. Double the dose when treating advanced or chronic infection. Repeat treatment, if necessary. Note: a slight foaming may occur during the treatment. When exposed to elevated temperatures, this product may turn cloudy in the bottle.
