Aoud Leather

The scent The artist Try a sample first!  Leather lover, or leather leaver? Whichever one you are, Montale has a surprise for you if you thought that you had any idea what a fragrance named after oud and leather would smell like. Far from a bombastic and bold olfactory uppercut, this is one of the most comforting, come-hither leathers that have ever touched our wrists. Gentle, brushed suede textures, mists of sunny citrus, and the slightest tingle of peppery spice - this one was made to simply wrap you in warmth rather than throw you in the middle of a biker bar. Calm, cool, and collected, this is actually a leather that settles in, perfectly at home on any gender of skin. But definitely don’t take our word for it – just spray and see how the subtle yet self-assured sillage pulls you in, over and over.     Notes include Calabrian bergamot, Indian pepper, Guatemalan cardamom, saffron, amber and oud.   Montale is the creation of Pierre Montale, who worked as an official perfumer for the Saudi royal family before returning to Paris to introduce Western perfume lovers to the rich world of Middle Eastern perfumery ingredients.
