However, when the Nguyễn lords in southern Vietnam reformed traditional clothing, the Viên Lĩnh style gradually disappeared from everyday use. It remained only in limited use, mostly within the royal court. Viên Lĩnh is part of our Thời Lê Collection, a modern homage to Vietnam’s longest-ruling dynasty. While we don’t dare to call this a full reconstruction, each piece in this collection is respectfully reimagined to honor the beauty, structure, and layering of traditional garments, while making them wearable for today.
