Ansuz · ᚨ

Ansuz · ᚨ The fourth rune of the Elder Futhark, belonging to the Æsir and to Odin above all — the god who hung nine nights on the world-tree to win the runes themselves. Ansuz is speech with weight behind it: insight, inspiration, the message you didn't know you were waiting for. Worn by those who listen before they speak. The piece — Handcast pewter, lead- and antimony-free. About 32mm, the size of a large coin. Black waxed cotton cord, adjustable. Each one cast individually — no two alike. A meaningful gift for a writer, a teacher, a therapist, a speaker — anyone whose work lives in the power of words and the courage to use them well.
