Amrita's Organic Anxiety Free Synergy Blend

The ingredients of Amrita's Anxiety Free essential oil blend are ylang ylang extra, myrrh and bergamot. This synergy of essential oils has been found to be particularly helpful in easing anxiety. Anxiety is a normal human emotion of fear or dread that can affect anyone from time to time due to certain stressful events. When anxiety becomes chronic, however, the mind and body overreact to mild stressors, causing an out-of-proportion stress response. This is why treating anxiety is often more complex than simply managing stress. Along with a balanced treatment plan that includes exercise, nutrition, behavior modifications and sometimes psychotherapy, the unique blend of essential oils in Anxiety Free is a formula that can help one overcome this condition. The first ingredient in the blend, ylang ylang extra, is an extremely potent essential oil that soothes the heart and cardiovascular system, reducing blood pressure and creating a relaxed state of mind and body. The heady, sensuous aroma of ylang ylang stimulates endorphins in the brain much like exercise or a hug from a friend. It is found to be helpful in creating a positive mood and calming a restless mind; it is particularly helpful for stabilizing the drastic mood swings some women experience during premenstrual syndrome. The second ingredient, bergamot, gives Earl Grey tea its appetizing, euphoric aroma and is one of the most emotionally uplifting of the citrus essential oils. The universally appealing scent of bergamot helps to counteract depression and to maintain positive energy levels. The third ingredient, myrrh, is an ancient resinous substance that is mentioned many times in the Bible as an anointing oil and ceremonial incense. It brings a grounded sense of calm, inner peace and tranquility. Myrrh strengthens our sense of self, reminding us that we are part of a greater whole, helping put our day-to-day problems and worries into perspective thus helping eliminate anxiety. Anxiety Free works on a subtle level helping to lessen inner stress and irritability, brings relaxation and a sense of peacefulness, and opens the door to a more fully enjoyed life. 10 mL/0.34 oz bottle from Amrita Aromatherapy
