Anubis Melting Desert

Anubis, Half Dissolved in GoldAnubis lies back in the heat with white linen loose across him, while the golden scales of judgment run liquid at his side. A falcon figure drips gold from a bare branch, a scarab keeps watch on a stone plinth, and the pyramids sit faint on the horizon. The watercolor handling keeps it all soft and a little feverish. There's a strange, dreamlike calm here that holds up in a living room or a home office, somewhere the eye can keep finding new details. Warm ambers and terracotta meet a bruised violet sky, with gold catching the light in the middle of it. Pairs well with Living Room Wall Art, Home Office Wall Art and Egyptian Artwork. --- Old Gods, Melting HeatAnubis at rest while the scales of judgment pool into gold. Egyptian myth told through soft, surreal watercolor in amber, terracotta, and deep purple.
