Antiques & Found Objects: Vintage Hand-Painted Lacquer Box

A vintage black lacquer box with a hand-painted lid: a red and yellow flower, a gold bird, the kind of decoration someone once painted by hand and meant. Boxes like this were made to keep letters, jewelry, and small secrets. It still does all three. One of a kind, sold as found, from the Bella Cucina Vintage Vault. See it in person at the Store x Studio, 288 Buckhead Avenue, Buckhead Village, Atlanta, or we ship it in protective wrapping.
