Antique Pulley

***Price is per pulley*** These antique pulleys features a variety of primitive industrial designs typically used for "block and tackle" systems in maritime, barn, or farm settings. The majority are constructed from heavy, weathered wood blocks that house either single or double metal sheaves (the internal wheels) designed to guide ropes for lifting heavy loads. Many of the units shown retain their original iron hardware, including heavy-duty swiveling hooks, metal loops, and thick bolts that secure the axles. The wood surfaces exhibit a rich, aged patina with visible wear, cracking, and staining, which reflects their functional history as essential tools from the early-to-mid 20th century. The pulleys vary significantly in size and weight, with some double-pulley configurations weighing as much as 11.5 pounds and measuring up to 21 inches in length. Today, these pieces are frequently repurposed as rustic interior decor, often used as unique hangers for light fixtures, plants, or as standalone shelf display item.
