Antique Double-Stack Oak Flat File Cabinet

Substantial oak flat file cabinet with six uniform shallow drawers, designed for storing large-format documents, blueprints, or prints in a compact, accessible footprint. The case is constructed from quarter-sawn oak with strong, flowing grain across the top and drawer fronts, while paneled sides reinforce its durable, work-oriented build. Each drawer is fitted with copper-plated cup pulls and inset label holders, allowing for organized indexing in professional environments. The stacked drawer configuration offers significant storage capacity without increasing footprint, and the cabinet is raised on turned legs with carved foliate detail-an understated decorative touch that balances its otherwise utilitarian purpose. Shows moderate wear consistent with age and use, including surface scratching and finish wear to the top, scattered marks and discoloration within drawer interiors, and patina to the copper-plated hardware. Case remains solid with drawers operating smoothly. 45.5" W x 35.5" D x 33.5" H Drawers (x6): 42" W x 32.25" D x 3.5" H each MM - C-20504 - 050126   This piece will need to ship via freight.
