Sticker measures 8.0" x 2.75" Founded in 1995 by pro skateboarder Julien Stranger under Deluxe Distribution, Antihero Skateboards emerged as a raw antidote to corporate skate culture. Stranger, frustrated with the industry's "stale" direction, built a brand celebrating rebellion, DIY ethos, and unpolished aggression. Iconic for its screaming eagle logo—drawn by Todd Francis—and provocative graphics (pigeons, doves, satirical jabs), Antihero decks are 7-ply maple beasts built for hammers. The roster? Legends like John Cardiel, Grant Taylor (2011 SOTY), Tony Trujillo, Peter Hewitt, Frank Gerwer, Chris Pfanner, Daan van der Linden, and Brian Anderson—riders who bomb hills, grind crust, and live the antihero life. Videos like Tent City and Beauty and the Beast tours with Girl cemented their legacy. Thirty years on, Antihero still fuels skateboarding's gritty soul: no sellouts, just skate.
