Anthurium Veitchii King

🌿 Anthurium Veitchii King Anthurium The Anthurium Veitchii, widely known as the King Anthurium, is considered a rare and highly coveted collector's plant. It is prized by aroid enthusiasts for its dramatic, deeply corrugated leaves that can grow up to 4 feet long in mature specimens. It is one of the most dramatic foliage plants in the aroid world. Its long, cascading leaves feature deep natural corrugation that creates a sculpted, almost architectural look. As it matures, each new leaf grows larger and more textured, making it a living centerpiece in any plant collection. Available in 6" Nursery Why it is called the King It earns the name “King Anthurium” because of its regal presence and oversized foliage. Unlike many Anthuriums that stay compact, Veitchii commands attention with long, rippled leaves that can reach impressive lengths. Its structure, rarity, and slow majestic growth give it a true royal status among collectors. ☀️ Sun Exposure Prefers bright indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves. Thrives in filtered light similar to what it would receive under a rainforest canopy. 💧 Watering Instructions Keep soil lightly moist but never soggy. Allow the top one to two inches of soil to dry slightly before watering again. It prefers consistent moisture with excellent drainage. Overwatering can lead to root stress, so a chunky airy mix is essential. 🌱 Humidity and Environment Loves high humidity, ideally 60 percent or higher. Perfect for plant cabinets, greenhouses, or bathrooms with good light. Will grow more vigorous and develop better leaf texture in humid conditions. 🌿 Can it be propagated Yes, but with patience. The Anthurium Veitchii is typically propagated through division of mature plants rather than cuttings. Offsets or pups can be separated once the root system is well established. It is not a fast propagator, which adds to its rarity and value. 🐾 Pet Safety Not pet safe. This plant is toxic if ingested by cats and dogs. Keep out of reach of pets and small children. ✨ Why plant lovers choose the King Anthurium This is not just a plant, it is a statement piece. Its dramatic leaf structure, slow sculptural growth, and rare collector appeal make it one of the most sought after Anthuriums in the world. Each new leaf feels like an upgrade, bringing more texture, more size, and more presence to your indoor jungle. Perfect for collectors who want something truly unforgettable in their plant collection.
