For riders who want cutting-edge safety technology wrapped in an unmistakably sophisticated design, the Antarès Precision Carbon Eclipse Riding Helmet is a true standout. This technical masterpiece combines an ultra-lightweight, all-carbon shell with advanced impact protection, exceptional ventilation, and elegant finishing details for a helmet that performs as beautifully as it looks. The distinctive outer shell is made entirely from carbon fiber, creating a thinner, lightweight design without compromising the helmet's technical construction. Glossy black air vents, a silver chrome helmet plate and triangle, and the elegant wide Eclipse visor give this helmet a refined, high-performance finish that's sure to turn heads in and out of the ring. Inside, the Precision Carbon Eclipse is engineered with rider safety at the forefront. Its EPS (expanded polystyrene) liner is designed to absorb and disperse energy from impacts. Blue waffle-shaped ERT (Energy Reduction Technology) foam pads provide an additional layer of technology designed to help distribute impact energy and offer anti-rotational properties. Comfort is equally important, especially during long days in the saddle. The newly designed airflow system features 11 internal apertures, along with front and rear vents and additional air ducts beneath the visor to encourage airflow throughout the helmet and help keep riders cool. The redesigned fastening system features an easy-to-use Fidlock magnetic closure, allowing riders to fasten and unfasten the helmet with one hand. A nylon and leather 3-point, Y-shaped harness provides a secure fit and is designed to help reduce helmet rotation. A nylon lock ring adds another thoughtful safety feature. The removable helmet liner combines foam padding, Lycra, and breathable 2D mesh to help create a comfortable, customized fit. Included foam pads allow for further adjustment, while elasticated straps at the rear of the helmet help relieve pressure at the back of the head—especially helpful for riders who wear their hair up. The elegant Eclipse visor takes inspiration from women's hat design, creating a beautifully wide silhouette while offering additional protection from the sun. Designed to be flexible, the visor complements the helmet's sophisticated look while meeting current riding helmet requirements. The Precision Carbon Eclipse meets current EN1384-2023 and F1163-2023 standards and features CE marking and SEI certification. It also comes complete with an Antarès protective drawstring bag. We love the Precision Carbon Eclipse because it brings together serious safety innovation, lightweight performance, and absolutely stunning style. The all-carbon shell gives it a sleek, elevated look, while advanced features like ERT technology, exceptional ventilation, and the Fidlock magnetic closure make it thoughtfully designed for today's rider. And the wide Eclipse visor? It's the perfect finishing touch for riders who want a little extra elegance without sacrificing performance. Fit Notes The Antarès Precision Carbon Eclipse Riding Helmet features a removable liner system designed to create a customized and comfortable fit. The interior combines foam padding, Lycra, and breathable 2D mesh, with additional foam pads included to help fine-tune the fit. The secure nylon and leather 3-point harness should be adjusted carefully to ensure the helmet sits properly and securely on the rider's head. Always follow the manufacturer's fitting instructions when selecting and adjusting a riding helmet. Helmet Safety Notes For maximum protection, replace your helmet after any significant impact, even if there is no visible exterior damage. Impact can compromise the protective properties of the internal liner. Antarès also recommends replacing your helmet no later than five years after the date of purchase, even if no visible damage or impacts have occurred.
