Artek Alvar Aalto Anniversary Colors Stool 60

In 1933, the now timeless classic and iconic Stool 60 was born, and 80 years later we celebrate this milestone with these special edition colors. These colors were taken directly from the first building Aalto designed that was furnished floor to ceiling with his own factory-made furniture, the Paimio Sanatorium. Notice the yellow of the floors, the green of the walls, the turquoise of the handrails and walls, and the orange, white and black of the Sanatorium's furniture that all inspired this stunning collection. The lacquered, single colored seats rest on the same three L-legs in natural birch that Finnish design fans around the world have loved for 80 years and counting. Standard furniture shipping is free within the U.S. contiguous 48 states. Expedited delivery is available at an additional cost, please review our Shipping Information page before ordering.
