Ane Slippers Pattern

I love these sweet little slippers with a Selbu star on the toe. The ribbon pictured is optional and is woven in the bottom of the slipper, and tied on top. Knit with Rauma Strikkegarn. CAUTION SLIPPERY ON HARD FLOORS. You might want to add something to make these slippers less slippery for toddlers or wear them on carpet only. Sizes Toddler 5-7 Yarn Rauma 3 tråds Strikkegarn, DK weight (or equivalent) 50-65 yards (46-59 m) Needles US 3 (3.25mm) DPNs or FlexiFlips (or gauge-sized needles) Notions 3mm crochet hook and darning needle Gauge and Swatch 24 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches or 10 cm (Lightly felted to 28 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches or 10 cm) NOTE: Please pay attention to your gauge and use whatever size needle you need to knit 24 stitches and 24 rows for 4 inches.
