Sakura Black

This award winning Sakura Black is a wonderful new tea grown by a small family farm outside of Yame, Fukuoka, Japan. Their land is located on in the mountains or Yabe Village and is home to both tea plants and sakura (cherry) trees, all thriving without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. The tea leaves are hand-harvested and carefully processed, then blended with sakura leaves resulting in a tea with a pure, vibrant character. The subtle floral hint of sakura pairs beautifully with the rich notes of Japanese black tea, creating a sipping experience reminiscent of a gentle spring breeze while still offering a pleasantly robust body. Ideal for slow mornings or a relaxing afternoon break, this tea reflects the dedication of a family committed to sustainable farming, making every cup feel truly special.
