Anders' Bar Cart Essentials: Grenadine, Authentic Ginger, & Brown Sugar Simple Syrup

A cocktail starter kit curated with Anders Erickson. This 3-pack pairs three syrups that show up in dozens of classic cocktails: Grenadine (real pomegranate-and-rose, not corn syrup), Authentic Ginger (whole Peruvian ginger root + Japanese chilies), and Brown Sugar Simple (molasses warmth + pure cane sugar). Add a bottle of bourbon and a bottle of rum and you've got the foundation for serious home cocktail making. Use Grenadine for Tequila Sunrises and French 75 variations. Use Authentic Ginger for Moscow Mules, Dark and Stormies, and homemade ginger ale. Use Brown Sugar Simple for old fashioneds and Manhattans that taste deeper than the standard versions. Between the three, you can build classic cocktails, batch punches, brunch drinks, and crowd-pleasing mocktails — all from one bundle. What's Inside Grenadine: Traditional rose-and-pomegranate grenadine. Use for Tequila Sunrises, French 75s, Shirley Temples. Authentic Ginger Syrup: Whole Peruvian ginger root + Japanese chilies. Use for Moscow Mules, Dark and Stormies, homemade ginger ale. Brown Sugar Simple Syrup: Concentrated brown sugar + pure cane sugar. Use for old fashioneds, brown sugar lattes, whiskey sours. Perfect For: Home bartenders, Anders Erickson fans, gift recipients who like serious cocktails, anyone building their first proper home bar, and party hosts looking for cocktail shortcuts. Best Enjoyed In: Old fashioneds (Brown Sugar Simple), Moscow Mules (Authentic Ginger), Tequila Sunrises (Grenadine), and any classic cocktail that uses one or more of these as building blocks. The Portland Syrups Promise: Ethically sourced, carefully brewed, and bottled in glass jars right here in SE Portland, Oregon. Frequently Asked Questions Q: How long do the syrups last after opening? A: Our syrups are shelf-stable for 24 months unopened. Once opened, refrigerate and enjoy within 6 months. Q: Why these three syrups together? A: Because between them, they cover almost every classic cocktail style. Grenadine handles the citrus-and-spirits drinks (Tequila Sunrises, Jack Roses, brunch cocktails). Authentic Ginger handles the ginger-beer and mule family (Moscow Mules, Dark and Stormies, Whiskey Gingers). Brown Sugar Simple handles the brown-spirits cocktails (old fashioneds, Manhattans, whiskey sours). With just these three syrups plus bourbon, vodka, and rum on your shelf, you can make 25+ classic cocktails at home. Q: Is this a good cocktail gift? A: It's one of our most-given gifts year-round. The combination is approachable enough for someone who doesn't make many cocktails yet and serious enough for someone who already does. The $7 savings versus buying the bottles individually doesn't hurt either.
